Alumni Tracking System

This software allows alumni to submit their education and jobs after graduation so the university can track statistics. I developed the application views in ReactJS, including both the landing page and dashboard system. I designed the UI/UX using the DaisyUI component library to ensure visual consistency throughout the product. On the backend, using ExpressJS, I included secure authentication systems and session management. Additionally, I integrated an external public API of data (universities in the country) to dynamically capture user response from inputs.

Project highlights

  1. Career Trajectory Visualization: The system generates visual representations of alumni career paths, identifying common industry transitions and advancement patterns. This provides valuable insights for current students planning their education and career paths.

  2. Networking Facilitation: The platform includes features to connect alumni working in similar fields or regions, creating a valuable professional network. Privacy controls allow users to determine what information is visible to other alumni.

  3. Data-Driven Curriculum Feedback: Analytics from alumni employment outcomes directly inform curriculum development, highlighting skill gaps and emerging industry requirements. Department heads receive regular reports on alumni success metrics relevant to their programs.
